The Red Light and Radiators

Hi, I am new to this site and I have glad I came across it. The red light on my gas boiler (15 yr old Weil Mc boiler) comes on constantly and I have to manually turn the unit on for heat. The tempature thus far has been between 35-48. The water level in the glass tube is usually full or at the midpoint. So I don't think this is the problem. I also have to feed the water manually because I do not have an automatic feeder. We have never had this problem before. One radiator on the first level, a very small baseboard, let's off a hugh amount of steam, could this be the problem? Or do you think I need a new thermostate. The boiler had it's winter checkup and passed, so I am stumped by this problem. Any advice would help. Thank you.
