Your system is limited to how much water can be pushed through those 1/2" lines. if you need more you will be cold! that given, a monoflo tee would help in that situation. First, start out with a proper heat loss calculation. then design from there a system that will work. Nothing beats the cold like doing heating correctly!

Kickspace Heater
I just had new baseboard heating system installed. The heating contractor installed 3/4" baseboard. 2/3 of the loop is 3/4" until he hits the kickspace heater it is reduced to 1/2" and the last 1/3 of the loop is feed with 1/2". Also on the last baseboard it is feed with the 1/2" and the return to boiler is 3/4". He said it is a series loop system. Is this ok to do?0 -
Another way
is to bypass the kicker with 1/2" pipe. This way half the flow goes thru the kicker and the other half bypasses it, and the rest of the loop gets the full flow of a 3/4" pipe.
