    New York Cares

    has a Secret Santa program that provides Holiday presents for more than 20,000 disadvantaged NYC kids. Marianne and I will be making a few trips into the City in the coming weeks to help read the letters (they're delightful!). Once read, New York Cares looks for generous people who are willing to make some poor kid's Holiday dreams come true by sending a present. We've done this in the past and it really makes this time of the year very special. The letters that we've received from the kids are so touching, and often hilarious.

    Would any of you Wallies like to answer a kid's letter with a gift this year?
