How do you calculate what size radiator you need for a certain square ft of a room.I have a 10 section sunrad radiator with 2.25 sq/ft of radiation per section.What is the formula to let me know what size radiator i need.Any help appreciated.

2.25 x 10 sections = 22.5 . 240 btu per sq. ft. is the multiplier , so 22.5 x 240 = 5,400 btuh0 -

if you need to know how much radiation you need in a given room, the proper way is a heat-loss calculation. Go to the Free Heat Loss Calcs page of this site to find out how to do this. Then you'll know for sure if your Sunrad will work in that room.
