Yesterday was a tremendous success that never would have been possible without all of you! 109 schools were beautified and 8,000 volunteers worked their butts off! So many children are going to go to school tomorrow and be amazed at all of the work that was done.
Thanks to the Wall, I raised just over $9400. New York Cares raised $117,000, which is way more than we've ever raised. So, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!! Your generous donations made all of this possible. Without people like you, we wouldn't have been able to do any of this.
My dad was in charge of all of the volunteers at PS 97 in Queens. Check out the photo. He was great and it looks awesome! This is just a sample of all of the great things that were done yesterday.
You guys are the greatest! THANK YOU!!!!!!

Retired and loving it.

    Concratulations Meg.

Great to see that your cause got "more than it bargained for" !

Like Murph, I'd like to see some photos of the Big Guy in action. (I'm sure if the kids were there....they would be asking ,Mom/Dad...is this man a GIANT?) And the only answer would be.... Yes, but not the kind we read to you in fairytales. This is a GENTLE giant. He is working to make your life better. Great to see that the riff-raff here on the board could be of some assistance to your worthy cause. Bless the Hollihan family for taking the next step. Chris

    How about

A painting of a Steam radiator or some kids standing on a radiant floor ? No ?

    O.K. just a thought :).

You should be very proud of yourselves. Dan, you and your family are the salt of the earth. Thanks for reminding us what we are doing here.

    NY Cares Day

    Dan and Meg,

Thanks so much for inviting me to be a part of this. I would have given anything to see the children's faces this morning. To everyone who worked on the murals or made a contribution, believe me, you are part of something really special!
