I forgot...Wirsbo Multicor or PEX-Al-PEX may be a good choice

Solar Collector Hookup
I am considering installing A panel-type solar collector using Pex in place of Copper piping. I have never been involved in an installation using Pex "Wirsbo" to hook up the collectors to the Draindown system.
Has anyone had any experience with using pex for this application....any advice would be appreciated..0 -
solar temps
in certain collectors will exceed 200 deg. F. That is not the best temperature for Pex. I'd recommend and use type L copper.

Better stick with
copper! This is what happens to pex when the pump goes out on a sunny day. I can't imagine PAP would fare much better.
Temperatures can reach 350F or better in a stagnant system.
Make sure you have working pressure relief valves also.
