Devastated

I almost lost that opportunity tonight.

We just returned from Mike's accident scene & I am all but done in. He lost control on a steep curve and wiped out lots of bushes in several yards while skidding across yards and driveways. Midway (while airborne), the rear hit a tree and pretty much destroyed the back end of the car. Busted axle, rear windshield and it looks like the frame is twisted. He & a friend are shaken and bruised, but ok. It's raining so damn hard I almost couldn't see to get there and we're soaked to the bone. The car stopped within inches (quite literally) of a brick house. I am feeling sick to my stomach with a full range of emotions & this brings back a host of very unpleasant memories. He came within a hare's breath of loosing his life tonight.

    So he is alright?....

    ....considering the circumstances?

I am glad to hear he didn't lose his life. I can only imagine what you are (and had to go) going through. God bless your family. I will include you in my prayers.

    A car is replacable. A life isn't.
