a flat compression tank with an acceptance volume of 3 gallons? It is equivalent to a Watts/Amtrol #30. It would be a big help on my panels. Anyone?

    Rectangular? tanks

    http://www.greertank.com/products.htm

Can't really find any bladder-type rectangular tanks if that's what you're looking for.

Looks like you could have them custom made (probably mucho $$$) sans the bladder/diaphragm.

Sorry I can't find anything closer...

    I see Kitec

has a flat rectangle shaped tank on their prefab panels. You might rundown their source.

Watts used to have them in their hydronic catalog also, an Italian import, I believe.

    Watts rectangular expansion tank

Watts does still carry 2 models of the rectangular expansion tanks, which are indeed made in Italy. We supply them with our Prodigy boilers. The larger one, the EFT-2, has an acceptance volume of 2.2 gallons. The Amtrol # 30 tank has an acceptance volume of 2.5 gallons (unless the old info I have has changed on either of these).
