Marketing low price among the rich

My ritual for road trips it to check out the local Yellow Pages' ads for heating & cooling contractors. Today I am in the resort town of Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida (near Jacksonville). The average median income is $114,405 and the new home value is $269,148. One of the most prominent Yellow Pages ad is for a local contractor. The top line in the ad, in bold print is -- "Best Prices in Town."
Unbelievable.

I'll bet he gets
tons of calls! More so than advertising "highest prices in town"
Probably isn't the lowest priced in town, to be able to afford good yellow page placement
Run a SNAP survey, he may be "the guy" in that area!

Best prices in town
Florida caters to the retiree/fixed income community. A right to work state. Strange place to work. Even stranger place to do heating/AC work in. The target clientell are people like my mother in law. That company is probably a very profitable one.
