I'm working on an older Monoflow system in a building which has been renovated several times resulting in several supplies and returns simply valved off and abandoned. Should these be removed and the main reconnected, or will that upset the balance of the system? Thanks, Al K.

Hard too say!
without really seeing it first hand. Unless you really want to open a can of worms may be best to leave as is if it's working.0 -
Monoflo
If they are not going to be used, get them out of there. Two things will happen; first, you will be proud of having cleaned up a mess that someone else made; second, you will have made the system more efficient and probably more comfortable by removing those restrictions.0 -
I agree with John
I would get rid of them too or you can connect the capped risers with a section of pipe to complete the loop......0
