What type of covering are they going to put over the tubing?

Does the floor go directly on the filler, or does plywood go down first?

    Timber Frame

We started the radiant the other day on this one. ThermoFin and Wirsbo for most of the home. This is my favorite radiant style and if I have my way, we will never do another joist bay job again. Really dislike joist bay! These ThermoFin projects run water temperatures akin to any gyp job. The balance of the radiant (tile) will be in the mud set. The mechanicals consist of a Vitodens with 2 mixing valves and indirect. Also, there are two Unico systems and one Mitsubishi Mini-split with three evaporators. Lot's of glass. A very enjoyable and time consuming project.

    Random width............

Ash hardwood, Mark. It will be attached directly to the filler panels. After the filler panels are installed, the whole floor will be covered in plywood until the sheetrock animals ;-) are finished.
