I have a peerless MI07 gas boiler with a peerless partner. The boiler is setup to maintain temp. between 160 & 180 degrees. Is this better than cold start? more efficient?

most likely not
most boilers we install with multiple zones have a priority control for the hw. i cant think of a reason to maintain temp.
