Wirsbo Mini Camp

from Mineapolis where I attended the Wirsbo training. I'm glad I did. I really firmed up my understanding of things and am really impressed with the product line even more than I was before. My Thanks go out to John and Wes for their efforts to fill our brains and to keep us entertained, and out of trouble. (I especially liked the Kareoke the last night. It was a true bonding experience for me and my radiant brothers.) "You've lost that loving feeling. Whoaoa that loving feeling, You've lost that loving feeling now it's gone gone, gone. and I can't go on whoaoaoaoa." WW

    Wirsbo Mini Camp

The MiniCamp was great!!! I had wanted to travel up to Apple Valley for years to see the facility and staff, but scheduling etc kept me away. John Barba, and Wes Sisco are awesome instructors!!! We were learning and laughing at the same time. I was impressed with the technical knowledge both of these guys have, extremely knowledgable about all things radiant. Then the way John was able to explain heat transfer theory, and hydronic principals in plain language and with much comedic relief was brilliant.
This was a great course for the beginner and also a good refresher for people with previous experiance designing and installing radiant heat systems. John and Wes kept us on the edge of our seats the whole time.

John Barba is an amazing person, his organization and presentation of this course is brilliant, not to mention how hilarious he is. To see a guy like John with so much passion for what he does is truly inspirational for guys like me in the "trenches".

Wes Sisco's knowledge of wiring, controls, boiler piping and hydronic theory was amazing. This guy knows his stuff!!

It was great meeting you there Wayco Wayne, nice to put a face (and a talented singing voice) to the postings here on the wall. I will look forward to seeing you again my friend.

I would also like to thank Mark Creyer from L&R Associates for all the work he did to make this trip a reality.

I am looking forward to going back to Apple Valley for more advanced courses and to see my friends there again.
Can't wait to see you all again soon!

I am travelling Wednesday to attend the class - by all reports - it is the best radiant training anywhere. Your excellent reports confirm it!
(not knowing the weather - should I take my golf clubs???)

    The eight ball says

"Dont count on it." but you never know. It was 80 our first day and 50 the 3rd day. Unless you're staying extra days you won't have time for the links. Minneapolis is on the same latiude as upstate Maine so Fall could come real quick. Be prepared for a great time. WW

Yo Cosmo. Great to meet you.

I hope we end up at the same advanced mini camp. I fully intent to return for more. Maybe then we could ply you with enough Adult beverage to get you to make an visit to the stage on Kareoke night. I returned to MD last night to find my sister had 2 extra tickets to see the Dixie chicks open up for the Eagles. Those old guys can still Rock Out like a big Dog. 2 late nights in a row for me is unheard of. I'll be dragging today. Talk to you soon. WW

    Hey Wayne

Yeah I still have to see if I will be able to make it out there in December.... That is always a tough month to schedule around. Knowing you will be there I will make an extra effort to get up there. Maybe then I will see if Minnesota actually gets anywhere near this theoretical design temp of -25. I was just up there in short sleeves and had the a/c on all night in my hotel room!! I'll have to try that Washington Apple stuff you guys were enjoying, and I wish I would have had that Walleye sandwich a couple more times!
    Take care Wayne

and a great educational experience too! It was great to see you Wayne, as always. It was nice meet you Cosmo, as well as the other great people. John and Wess did a great job, keeping us awake after those late night outings had to be a challange itself! I am looking foward to mini camp 2, but it will have to be after I get this house finished and get through the winter. Let me know about that upcoming meeting Wayne. Hey maybe you should be karaoke wayne!

    Minicamp

A big thanks to Wes and John for a great training class and an all around great time. Also a great thanks to Mark for that exceptional overview of the ADS. Tim Dorn was great and would like to see more class time with him in the future.

John - I never knew primary / secondary was so physical - I haven't laughed that hard at something so technical in my life. One thing is for sure - I will never forget it. I also respect you missing out on Friday night for your kids. My hats off to you for that one.

For all of the other "Wirsbo Guys" out there - you are a wild bunch - I had a great time.

I'm surprized to see you on the Wall so soon. This must mean your house is finished, right??? It was a pleasant surprize to see you arrive at the seminar. I hope you can make the RPA meeting, on Oct 21st 5:30 to 8:30 at the Doubletree hotel in Tysons corner. Spen the night and go to Dan's seminar the next day in the same hotel. E-mail me for more info if your interested. Cosmo! My good friend. My sales rep. the incomperable Jeff riley says the December mini camp is full already so we will have to wait for another opportunity. I'll let you know when I here more info. WW

    I Wish

The house still isn't done! I am stuck doing the ductwork right know, I haven't made it to the basement yet for the fun stuff! I talked to Dan today, I'll be at the meeting and will try to make it to the class. If you can hold out for mini camp 2, we should try to get a bunch of us to go in the spring or summer. We'll back to the house, I'll see you at the meeting.
