I am reconditioning about a dozen old radiators for installation in a house that has never had central heat. One of the issues is that many of the old bushings and bleeders are damaged or the wrong size. Does anyone know a source/manufacturer or supplier for new old-looking radiator parts? Thx.

Legend Valve is only U.S. manufacturer I can find for the bleeders, but I guess there are more. I've seen them for sale on the web but can't find a link right now--they're difficult to descriminate...
You can usually find the bleeders and keys at good, old plumbing/hardware stores. True Value or Ace stores might stock them in your area but none of the home improvement centers around me carry them.
I have NO IDEA where to find the decorative bushings--or even if they are still made. You can though use standard black iron bushings in their stead.0 -
Yugo?
I had one of these in the shop. The difference in my opinion between the old and new is about the difference between a 1920 packard and a yugo ;-).0 -
The search continues
I still have not found anything quite as nice as the originals, but I have found a couple of okay valves:

Ace is the place
I like how Ace descibes the valve as "fits most steam radiators"
