Compressor
Need a mfg and a model #, Also any accs. mounted on the unit.0 -
No details available.
This is simply a guess on approximate weight...assuming 300 to 400 pounds.
This was part of a extended service warranty proposal for 37 roof-top units on top of a 3-story building...crane and manpower would be involved to replace any defective compressors.

semi-hermetic ?
or "tin can" ?0 -
Bill , 10 ton a/c comps.
I checked several mfgs " tin can' units and they all are under 200 #, But that is a long tug of war up 3 stories on a hot Aug afternoon. My days of carrying those blessed things up an extension ladder on my shoulder are over.Semi-hermetics seem to be between 300-500# depending on who makes it.Most sign co.s will rent a small crane or boom truck on a 2 hr. min for pick, drop and run jobs like this. In my area under $ 400.00. Hope this helps some.JC.0 -
Thanks Joe...(nm)
