SLOW HEAT

Hire a competent heating pro and evaluate THE ENTIRE SYSTEM. You may be shy of radiation, have flow problems, air entrapment, bad circulator and on and on and on. Too many possibilities without knowing more.

SLOW HEAT
I have a two zone(1 upstairs, 1 downstairs) hot water by gas Burnham heating system. I lower the thermostat downstairs during the day to 64. When I raise the thermostat to 70 at night it takes forever for the temperature to go up and it never reaches 70. I even set the thermostat to 80 to see if the temperature would go up but it never goes over 68. Do I need a new thermostat? Should I call the gas company or a heating company? Winter is coming and I should fix this now. Any ideas?0 -
Heating company. Given symptoms you describe EXTREMELY doubtful that the thermostat is at fault. Could be circulator, valves, air, etc.0
