Anybody have any quick formula's for figuring the number of new style Wirsbo joist trak ( Thermo fin ) plates needed for x number of square feet per on center distance. I have formulas for the old style plates but the Joist trak is narrower and twice as long. Trying to figure a job and my Radiant express isn't up to date with these new plates.

Why
Can't you just double what you have for the old single groove plates? The double plates should actually work out the same.If your doing joist bay heating you still only have two pipes per bay, even though the track is narrower.
