toe kick heater

Has anyone converted a single room in a house, namely the kitchen, to hot water heat using a toe kick heater when the rest of the house is steam? My customer is renovating his kitchen and has nowhere to put his radiator. I'm just wondering what kind of a control issue I'm going to have and how well the heat will be balanced on the level of the house where the kitchen is located. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

kitchen toe heater
Just did one the other day.Set it up like a hot water loop off the boiler, or use the tankless if available. We ran a 3/4 loop out to the kitchen and put two toe heaters in with monoflow tees as in any other FHW application. This is a separate zone and the only way to I know of to give you good heat control. Add a stat and the usual needed trim and specialties and you're off and running.
this job had a plate heat exhanger in place (someone planned ahead on this project, so it was an easy do.
Good luck
