Were doing a two story addition and the home own wants cast iron radiators, yes. And i'm thinking of TRV for better room comforts but i'm undecided on piping for the system.Monoflows with constant circulation or manifold for feed and return with constant circulation?

I would definitely pipe that as a separate zone..
with its own thermostat. Keep it simple....a simple monoflow loop works. Trvs are nice, but might be a little overkill and above the budget. A properly-sized system will do the trick too. Mad Dog
