FREE test packet

Here's a link for a free sample of KEK.
I don't know how it works, but I have had good luck with it when converting old really (DIRTY) gravity HW systems to forced Circ. After using TSB I leave the KEK in. Hey, I'm not a chemist. It's good stuff & best of all; IT'S FREE.

Let me know if you guys are familiar with this product.

    Cutting oil

There are cutting oils that are water soluble on the market. Has anyone ever tried those? I would think it would eliminate a lot of problems on steam installs.

    oil removal

for removing cutting oil i always just drip my pipe in a bucket of vinger and that usally removes the oil and then on start i do skim while the boiler water is hot usally that will remove most of all the rest of the junk and for chemicals i've found surgemaster by stewart hall chem. allways works excellent but that saying that you've done all your near boiler piping correctly good luck
