twining two gas water heaters

i'm looking to twin two gas fired water heaters in a residential home. looking for piping diagrams and info on how i can install so i get max efficency and distribution........

    there are two common ways: one is two make sure the two tanks are piped equal distance from the tees for both the cold and the hot water. The second is to do a reverse return-feed one tank with cold water then the second, then take the hot water from the second and then tie in the first. This is a self balancing system that requires a little more piping but assures equal distribution.

    .Sorry about the size, it's a big system. The closed loop draws off of the outter closed loop system. It is NOT an open and direct system. The heat source is assumed to be a Phase 3 boiler/DHW combination.
