Glenn Stanton at Burnham. Burnham bought the American-Standard boiler line about 1970 or thereabouts. They just might have something on your A-S. You can e-mail Glenn at gstanton@burnham.com .

How about taking a picture and posting it here?

As for codes, these vary from place to place. Once we determine the age of your boiler, check with your local code authorities.

    Old boiler installation instructions

    I have an American Standard boiler model 1-%W (Serial number 21659).

    It looks like a late 50's or early 60's boiler.

    Do you know where I can get a copy of the installation instructions for this boiler?

    Also, what code was in effect during this installation?
