"Birds of a feather............"
Nice looking job.
Why would you paint the Wirsbo tubing black though?

before the pour
This job is just about to be poured so I got some quick photos. Most of the work we have been doing has been climate panel above floor work. This job will have some slab, some climate panel, and on the second floor Runtal radiators.
This is our "celebrity job" as the owner is Jonathan Knight of the New Kids On The Block. He's a good guy and very down to earth. He does no recording or music work and actually owns a construction company.
This is the foyer/mudroom. We used these clips that attach to the wire. Nice work by Steve and Darrel.

Conservatory
Mr. Green with the lead pipe in the Conservatory. I loved that game.
This will be all glass, with Runtal for supplemental. We have a copper pipe from the crawl space for our slab sensor and A floor drain. The owner is going to have a shower valve and shower head installed in the middle of the room. Largest shower stall we've ever done. .

Boiler room
Steve and Darrel have installed all the tubing and run it back to the boiler room. After the pour we'll install the boiler, a Buderus oil fired with Super-Stor 80. Also will have two Unico systems and possible mini splits for conservatory and pool room.

Why the pipe insulation on the PEX. Do you not want to over heat the boiler room? WW

Ya
Excatly. I saw no reason to waste that heat in the boiler room or have a big hot spot while your in the room. Besides the heat goes out to the rooms where it belongs.

Good Call
Good idea on the insulated pipe. We went in to a job last winter that had all the tube for the ground level slab run through the theater room, half way through the winter they installed air conditioning and ran it to be able to watch a movie, in January! Nice looking job Scott, sounds like your getting more of the big fish lately, a lot more interesting heh?0 -
in season?

That is the new radiant paint everyone is talking about. It is supposed to make the output equal to Stadler. We'll see.
So is that turkey legal size ?

Thanks Ron
we've been working with a good contractor who's getting us some nice work.
I am waiting to get some photos of our last job. It was a large house that had scorched air. We removed the hot air from the second floor and installed cast iron rads in every room with Danfoss non-electric zone valves. Constant circ with a ..... wait for it ...... silver boiler in the basement.

Nice looking job so far!
Hey Scott, how ya been? I was curious about what kind of tubing you are using in these pictures! I have never seen black PEX unless that is polly?
I was also wondering how many returns you will be using with your two Unico Systems; two or more? I really like Unico myself, we have been using all metal ducting for our main trunk line and it makes for a nice neat job!

Morning Jamie
Hows the little guy ?
The tubing is Stadler. These will be two - two ton systems and each will have one return. The construction on this job makes it a little difficult. Can't have everything I guess.
