Need to know how many people are attending...

the Friday Afternoon tour of the Coors Brewing Company steam/electrical generation power plant/brewery/ Red Rock Community College tour.

This tour will be during the Friday before the Saturday G.O.W.III (A.K.A. Wet Stock 3). I need to know if I need a Greyhound bus or a Chevy.

Need to know by the end of this week for sure, so sign up early!

    The Grand tour

I Would love to go along will just have to rearange flights or travel time to get there soon enough. Just let me know scheduled time and $ amounts. Jill thought that it would be great too, that way she can spend more time w/ #1 daughter that just moved out there.
    Thanks!

    Awesome to behold

This is worth seeing, IMO. Took a tour in the 80's. They were burning 15 tons of coal a day (or was it five?) in a seven story tall (I think) steam plant back then. There were two I-forget-how-many-Megawatt synchronous generators selling power back to the grid off-peak. Was it 1200 p.s.i. steam at 800°F?

Or has my mind exaggerated the facts through the years?

Anyway, it was very cool. It's gotta be worthwhile... even if they don't give out FREE BEER at the end of the tour. *sniff*

    Jim, how do you?

rearange flights and travel time? Aren't most flights (the cheap tickets) unalterable?

Not a simple yes or no

My children haven't seen beautiful Colorado, so I'm bringing my family to the hotel with me. We plan to drive up in the mountains afterward. I wouldn't mind showing them the sights at the brewery, but I could just follow you in our van as there would be 5 of us including my wife. Are well behaved children allowed on this tour? Mine have been on tours such as GM's Wentzville Assembly plant in MO. They know how to wear their little safety glasses and keep quiet. My 3 year old boy won't even climb on open beer vats or spin any valves. :-)I won't be offended if they can't go. Let me know. Thanks, Kevin
