have just been informed that the Department of Public Safety adopted 18 NFPA Standards on July 8, 2003.

The only one that seems to have an immediate impact on oilburner installers is the adoption of NFPA30-2000 'Flammable and Combustible Liquid Code'.

However, if you are a plumber the adoption of several other codes that impact you will be of interest.

All of the NFPA Standards adopted have been incorporated into the State Building Code as 780CMR Appendix A-7-03-E1 as an 'Emergency Amendment'. these have yet to be posted on the web, but when they are they can be found here:
