Scott:
It looks as though you've got some great mountain biking territory out there and you're house looks big enough for fellow wetheads that drop in for a week or two.
:>)
You might get a call from me next year.
Best wishes,
Alan

Wifes cousin
My wifes cousin came for a vacation to see us and while here, rented a plane.
We flew over my home town, my house, Gloucester, and one of my jobs. I brought my camara and got some great shots. It was a smooth flight and clear.
I thought you guys might like to see the photos.
The first one is Singing Beach which gets its name from the sand that squeaks when you scuff your feet. Only a couple in the world that do it.
The other shots are Manchester's harbour and tucks point.

THANKS
For reminding me why i live here. Our whole cost is dotted with scenes like that. Plus the mountains and snow in the winter. Quaint little town commons. Fall leaves around the corner. Working in houses built a century BEFORE the civil war. And the ocasional one built 50-100 years BEFORE the Revolution. The Patriots, Redsox, Bruins and the Celtics the greatest basketball franchise ever. MIT ,Harvard, some of the best hospitals in the country. Gotta love it. Couldn't live anywhere else.0 -
almost forgot!!!
Sam Adams BEER!!!!!! the company that started the revolution and made quality craft brews popular again. Finally something other than yhat watered down mass produced stuff0 -

An idea
a neighbor of mine has a small plane. He flew around the neighborhood and took aerial photos. He used a digital camera so he could edit the shots.
Then he had Christmas cards made from various pics them and sent them to all the homeowners.
Clever idea! He is also a used car dealer and used this as a promo piece. Consider the same for your shots. People are apt to hang on to a nice picture of their home,
With your company name and number proudly printed on it, of course!

You continually
show why they call you "hot". What a great idea.
Neat photos Scott. I have a couple of my place somewhere in the photo albums. I discarded the one of me turning white after our touch and go at Worcester airport. The pilot actually suggested a loop but when he saw my color----no way.
I also second Joel's comments-what a great place New England is, taking nothing away from the other areas of the country and the world. We live in a very special place.0 -
i did...
a remodel on a house right accross from those two lighthouses. It was a chopped up, rat infested house when we started. when we finished it was great. This is going back 8yrs ago.I thimk they paid about 400K for the house on the rock, put 3to 400K into it. With the way property values have climbed the last couple of years it got to be worth $2 mil. It had a gret view of the lighthouses! kpc0 -
Scott I did the same thing
A friend of min efrom new bedford had a small plane and we went up the coast line to groton CT. The homes we saw were unbelievable. There is some very nice properties on the coast of new england. I bet you had fun. I did and he did a dive and we went free falling for wha tseemed to be forever. What a feeling. Glad you had fun.0 -
gloucester
been there done that, what a lovely town. I am from seattle and find many similarity's. What a life, water, sun and being a boiler installer. Great to be a part of it.0 -
Twin Lights
Scott,
Great picture of the Twin Lighthouses...I sat my **** on Long Beach for 4 weeks and just stared out at the views, drinking cold beer and playing mad games of "Beach Bocci". Now its back to the cellars of all these old New England heating systems...
PS. the schooner looks like the "Thomas Lannon" out of Gloucester Harbor. I took the kids out for an afternoon ride, what an amazing boat!0
