mono-flo tee

Options
that you want to cap is a monoflow tee the answer is NO...By capping that you will restrict the flow to the rest of the loop way too much. It would be better to loop the two tees together ,bypassing the rad. I dont see an easy way to get aroud running pipiues on the outside of walls...kpc

I'm doing a boiler replacement and the customer would like to zone a CI baseboard that is in the basement. The problem is the walls are finished and there is only a six inch nipple from the supply mono-flo tee to the drop which is buried in the wall. My question is,if I cap the tee and run pex from a zone valve teed right after the pump to the drop , will I get enough flow? My gut says yes, but my brain says ask before I cut the pipe.
