hot water loop
I am considering installing a hot water loop off a steam boiler to provide heat to some rooms. One room is an addition on the same level as the first floor and the other room is a few steps down from the first floor that can be isolated by closing a door. I'd like to control the hot water loop with the same thermostat that controls the steam. My concern is would the hot water baseboard areas and the steam heated area heat equally or would one heat faster than the other? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!0 -
Absolutely have to be zoned seperate from the steam side. You really need to know what your doing here or you could end up with no heat anywhere. Hire someone who knows how to set this up.0
