As the resident astronomer here, I'll say yes, I do believe it is a fake...and also say...if only the weather was better in the North East! An astronomer in the North East, all the observing is done out in the west, or Hawaii, or Chile.

And best yet, in space.

Yes it is a hoax

There is a web site my cousin sent me after I sent him this very pic. It not only shows the original [icture that had been manufactured, but showed actual satelite photos of the night of the blackout. It was not as dark as the hoax picture. If I can find the web site I'll be back. WW
