Power outage strains blood supply, too

The Red Cross in Southeast Michigan had to dump 2,500 pints of contaminated blood when the power went out last week. I don't know why there wasn't generator backup but it's too late to argue semantics now. A critical situation is now on life support. Please DONATE if you can. I do it four times a year and will do so this week.
