    If I were a manufacturer......

I'd immediately see the value offered by donating my product(s) to this worthy cause. But I wouldn't stop at that!

Nope. I'd follow that donation to its end use and then find some way to write about its journey and how it was more than a mere piece of steel, copper, pex or stainless steel. No sir, that'd be one gem of a product that was serving a greater purpose!

And to think that this industries greatest writer of all time is sitting on this story and will be a captain of his school's team! Man, I'd be giving that some serious thought. That kind of PR is worth its weight in gold.

What's that song about following the yellow brick road?

  • Hey I don't want

the boiler but the burner that is another story. Hey Paul give Dan the boiler. I will take the burner.

They do not make those anymore, come to think of it they do not make the boiler anymore either.
  • What an opportunity

for manufacturers to get some good public relations. They should jump at the chance. How about it everyone some top flight boilers for us to bid on. I still need a few more for my center.

    Ahh,

    the lions sleep tonight.

Maybe I'll hear from one tomorrow. Yes, New York, New York. So nice they named it twice.

Who wants to be my hero?

  • A little bait for the lions

The boiler company that donates a boiler, the winner of that boiler in the auction gets two free days of training at my center. If they so choose we can do it on the boiler they win.

I will even see if I can get HVACTV.com to do a little video of the event for some free advertising.

Come on now we are sweetning the pot.
