But seriously, it is so rewarding to help. I just got my Make-A-Wish volunteer card and I'm anxious to jump in and help. My first event was volunteering at a Michigan Bicycle Tour event. Just seeing the Wish kids put medals around the necks of their heroes (the riders) was enough to bring a grown man like me to tears. I had to keep my sunglasses on.
