Wiring...
Can anyone point me in the right direction for explanations of how some of the newer hot air furnaces are wired? I have a thorough understanding of the old fan limit controls, and how they are wired to burner/blowers, but I am seeing more and more direct-drive blowers with a mass of relays/transformers mounted in the enclosure. Some of these also have AC, but others do not. Also, some of the blowers have controls mounted on them with a capacitor plugged into them. Does anyone carry any of these parts in their service vans? Or do you just chase the power to find the failed relay/transformer and then go get one at the supply house?0 -
I have a number
of guides and manuals that explain the new systems in detail. If you will e-mail me I will send you a catalog. We even have a guide on what truck stock to carry to service gas systems.0 -
I'd like to see
That guide on truck stock Tim. E-mail me if you could.0
