    Bud Goodman, of TheSheetmetalShop.com fame

has donated a half dozen manuals on "The Forgotten Art of
Sheet Metal Layout" each comes with the registration to free updates.

The value of each is $40. If you'd like to get one for free, just make a $40 donation to New York Cares through Meg's site and email me the receipt. I'll get the info to Bud and he'll send you this fascinating manual.

    Thanks, Bud!

    About the manual...

Let me tell you a story about the manual…I can’t take the credit for much of the content in these manuals, I can only take the credit for sharing it with everyone…here’s the scoop, the manual covers all line developments that you need for understanding sheet metal layout…It also includes the complete correspondence course of sheet metal layout written by the dead men back in 1909, nearly 100 of the 170 pages. I’m not a professional writer and I’m not trying to get into writing, I try to help everyone understand pattern development & we’re just trying to help fund the largest sheet metal site the industry ever saw…Anyways this is a very exciting project and for that reason we decided to keep the manual in binder form and also include 5 separate dividers at the end…The dividers are to place more tutorials and drawings as we upload them to the section of the website for manual owners. All manual owners have unlimited access to a section of the website strictly for manual owners…Here we are going to open the books of the past and learn more and more layout. (I’ve already added 15 pages to the manual that are already available in the update section in pdf format and java script) I will try to upload more every other week, only you can decide on how informative your manual becomes. The updates are in PDF format. You can view several samples from our site. With PDF format you can zoom in on the hard to understand areas of the drawing. No shop should be without the manual and the ability to access the manual owners only section…

All this for a $40.00 donation…and there is no promise how long this manual and manual owners section will remain at $40.00.

We have recently committed to additional information on sheet metal layout for the roofing industry…

Our content comes from experts such as Neubecker, The American Technical Society (American School of Correspondence) Original instruction from Theo Audel, Edward Berg, French & Svensen, and too many more too list. You don’t need to hunt for the old books, will share ours with you.

Come Grow with us. You will have no regrets.

Thanks for your support for the past three years; it’s been a great three years! Now show your support for New York Cares!

12 am eastern time dead line

Any reasonable donation to Meg's New York Cares gets your address on the manual "The Forgotten Art of Sheet Metal layout" and free registration to the update section of the website...This is a no brainer!

Listen up, My wife and I have been fighting local government to keep a little girl safe and to find help for her mom that is locked up and going through some difficult times. We been in and out of court and working between different counties might as well be between different worlds...it's a mess out there and some people only have these groups for support. There are a lot of less fortunate people out there, we have shelters that are over crowded, people in line trying to get a pair of shoes, food books for school...kids in school with learning disabilities and moms & dads with no one to turn to...there help out there for these people but more than likely it's not going to come from your local government. It comes from volunteers that care enough and humble themselves enough to ask us for help...We have plenty of these groups here in our own back yard...so why would I try to help the cause in NY? Simple, we take care of those who take care of us...It's always been that way...It's all I've got...Any Donation to Megs New York Cares will get Manual (I'm shipping 6 out)Remember when you donate, the money isn't coming to me, it needs to help many people...every little bit helps.

I really would like to see six names on this list and a word from Dan or Meg that a donation has been made by 12 am eastern time so I can hit the sheets tonight knowing we were able to help out.

Thanks in advance...What ever it takes, you tell us what you can afford and it will be very much appreciated.

    I guess

The Wall brings out the best in all who hangs here.

I take my share of notes from here everyday!
I have no problem giving something back!

Thanks for giving us THE WALL to hang on!
