Hot Rod...looks like you checked out the company that says it's the "original."

REALLY wish I would have had my camera when I saw the prototype in a house. Three private electric meters to get accurate measurements; the longest mercury thermometer I've ever seen measuring the temp of incoming water (10ths of a degree were about 1/4" apart as I recall); EXCEPTIONALLY detailed records.

Owner collaborated with the builder for the prototype.

His spring feeds a man-made cypress swamp in the back yard, a stream with river otters (seriously), multiple catfish ponds and provides his domestic water via a gravity pump.

If you're ever heading that way (Pocahontas, AR) let me know and I'll arrange a visit. I don't know them too well, but they're old and close friends of my dad and his family.
