made by ECONAR, Appelton, MN. I have installed a couple water-to-air. Very good start-up and pretty fair tech support. I believe www.econar.com would get you to a website.

    Try Hydro-Temp

in Pocahontas, Arkansas. Sounds like they will build whatever you need.

See the cover story in the Aug. 18 issue of the ACHR NEWS

seems to supply or build some large single-phase units

Hot Rod...looks like you checked out the company that says it's the "original."

REALLY wish I would have had my camera when I saw the prototype in a house. Three private electric meters to get accurate measurements; the longest mercury thermometer I've ever seen measuring the temp of incoming water (10ths of a degree were about 1/4" apart as I recall); EXCEPTIONALLY detailed records.

Owner collaborated with the builder for the prototype.

His spring feeds a man-made cypress swamp in the back yard, a stream with river otters (seriously), multiple catfish ponds and provides his domestic water via a gravity pump.

If you're ever heading that way (Pocahontas, AR) let me know and I'll arrange a visit. I don't know them too well, but they're old and close friends of my dad and his family.

The Econar 120 is a 10 ton, 2 stage unit available in single phase. We have specified them on a few projects, and have had good results.
