How
are YOU doing?Retired and loving it.0 -
Doing well, thanks.
During the day, working the job. At night (evening) moving boxes and pets for people that are evacuating. Trying to do as much as they let me. If I could, I'd dig trenches for the fire guard that is being build, but they wont allow civilians within fire range.
Its amazing and really nice to see how everybody is pulling together when something goes wrong. Many businesses like storage companies, moving companies and many many others offer equipment and help for free. Weve got endless volunteers.
I tell you, have seen very emotional scenes around our Community Center, where all of the evacuees are home for now till things get better. All are a little scared to loose their homes but at the same time we have a lot of confidence in the personnel on scene. They are doing a terrific job saving homes!!!
Health wise, we are all doing well. No lives have been lost (except for a helicopter that went down). There are complaints about heavy smoke causing breathing problems.
As I always say, If I was doing any better than I already am, theyd kick me out :)
Thanks for asking.
