It is so wonderful to know that I have the support of such a wonderful group of people. This summer, we visited about 200 schools and we've selected 114 of them for New York Cares Day. They are some of the worst places I have ever seen, and I can't even believe that they are places where kids go every day to learn. On October 18th, about 8,000 volunteers will transform these 114 schools into brighter, cleaner places to learn. With your help, this day will be a huge success.
