I am looking for a source of information and a supplier (Midwest region) for Perfect Temp brand duct zoning controllers and dampers, can anyone help? This is for an existing hydro-air system.
Thanks - Greg

Check this out
I can't help you with the products you asked about, but check out Honeywell's Networked Zoning System. Easy to wire, easy to use, EnergyStar rated stats, optional remote control & communications. Go to www.honeywell.com/yourhome and just follow the prompts. Available from any Honeywell distributor if you are a contractor, or use the "Find A Contractor" feature above if you are a homeowner. Good hunting!0 -
Thanks, Bill
I just finished installing another Bryant Zone Perfect system and they are relatively easy to install and the Smart Sensors are capable of doing lots for the customer and program pretty easily. I haven't checked out the Honeywell product, but have no doubt it is also superb.
I do like the Honeywell site also - lots of product info, etc.
The case I mentioned in my first post is for an existing install needing some better control devices in particular and I have no manual or instructions to help out. No need to replace or upgrade the existing system just yet.
Thanks - Greg0 -

Perfect temp was the name of the zoning product made by research porducts corp. alias Aprilaire, the same folks who make humidifiers. I've used their zoning systems for years. They work fine. They changed their name to make everything Aprilaire now. Go through your normal aprilaire supplier. WW

Greg,
Perfect Temp Zoning is made by Research Products a.k.a. Aprilaire. You can go to www.perfecttemp.com or www.aprilaire.com for more info. As for Midwest dealers, G.W. Berkheimer is our main Aprilaire distributor, with locations in Chicago and suburbs, Indiana and Kentucky. To check them out, go to www.gwberkheimer.com. Otherwise, go to any supplier that sells Aprilaire products and I'm sure they can help you.
