There was a tread two or three week's ago about nextel phone's and David yates mentioned the nexswipe option for these phones and I would like to put in my 2 cents. I have had my nextel w/ the nexswipe option for a week now and I give it a 9 out of 10. Have had 14 in the field swipes( visa,mc,discover and yes debit cards) and two via my computor and all went threw w/out a problem. The 2 via my computor were great... one a "final" payment on a job and the other a deposit for a nice size job from a landlord out of state. The cell service from nextel could use some work, I think I'll keep my verizon cell service and just cut back the minutes plan, the instant connect is great seeing most realtors and maintenance cruz I deal w/ all have nextel's. I think it's something to look into
(www.nexswipe.com) and you can have as many swipers on your account w/ no added fee's..just the cost of the swipers....just my 2 cents... Geo

Nextel cell service

I was thinking of getting rid of Verizon, and getting a Nextel to have the 2way service.Are you saying the Nextel doesn't have as good cell service?

in my area

(southeastern new england) I seem to have less "dead zones" then I did with previous cell phones. Plus the 3 supply houses that I deal with the most are all have Nextel, so that makes it easy.

and talk to a live body? wow ... I need to sweet-talk the gals not to put me into voicemail,you know to wait 15 min cell min of course .
I think I like that camera phone idea .combine that with nextel and see what happens. well see you @ the beach!
