ok needs some thoughts on this one please,
i know how i want to pipe it, its going to have 3 zones of base board and 2 zones of radiant, what would be the best way to wire all of this into a 2107 logimatic control with out door reset??, i have been doing this with w+m boilers , this is the frist time with the buderus boiler.

this is a 50 yr old house and the system has been added to a few times, its a old crane boiler that i am taking out. i am very excited about doing this job and starting my frist buderus with this mixed bag of tricks is going to be say intresting... to say the least.

i have been coming to the wall for 2 yrs now and can think of no better place to get the BEST ideas that can be offered

i will take some before pic and post them and give you a update when i am done. man i love this stuff!!!
i only hope it looks and works half as good as some of the jobs i have seen here!

thank you for your help...David, krupa oil co.

    Buderus wiring

Dave, I don't know where you are from, but here I go immediately to Buderus folks in Salem NH with questions like this. They just did a meeting for our NAOHSM chapter last night and their knowledge, expertise and willingness to help and support is amoungst the best in the industry. They will set you up with the know-how to do the job right...
    use their boilers a lot....

    options

Use the mixing card output to run your radiant zones, and your heating output to run your high temp zones. The mixing card will run a mixing valve (Buderus uses a 24v esbe) and you can run your high temp output to power a Taco or equeivelant circulator relay box for the high temp.
  • Buderus Ecomatic Control Vrgin

    Excelent choice David.

The Buderus Ecomatic control to run multi-temp zoning and reset boiler Temperature from is the HS 2107 with a mix module (card that just slides into the mother board). I have wired nearly a dozen of these and it's as user friendly, neat & tidy of a control unit you'll find.

You're going to love how easy this control is to wire. "Probably take you longer to program than to wire it in." Not that it's hard to set up. It just takes some time to get use to the sequence of pushing buttons while turning a dial.

All the wires run under the top of the boiler jacket to the rear of the control and connections thereto are as simple as turning a set screw.

If you need to know "specificly" how to wire your mechanical room and you allready know the piping, pumping Etc. You can use some example wiring diagrams provided with the control or have it drawn up by your wholesaler "if they're good". Have them call the factory in NH. & fax you a schematic that suits your application.

Any you Buderus Wallies heard of "THE CLAW" ? Programing shortcut known only by trusted installers. Not this forum.
This is definately "too much info" Ha. ;-)

Too bad BUDERUS CONDENSING BOILER technology is STILL not available in North America.

    ANYBODY OVER IN GERMANY LISTENING??????
