do you folks consider too late to call a customer?

While we're at it, what time is too early?

My general rule of thumb is 8:00 AM and 9:00 PM Monday thru Friday and 9:00 AM or after on weekends unless you know the customer and that sooner or later is ok. Some of my customers are ok up till 11:00 PM and up as early as 5:00 AM.

Sometimes as early as 7:00 if they need me and its important, other than that I would say 7:30am to 8:00pm.

    Good question

    Mark,
In my business I call between 8 and 8. However it doesnt hurt to find out when your customer works. Does he work 3rd shift? If so you dont want to call him after 8:30 am. Best thing to do is to ask each customer and write it down on his contact information. Writing it down is key though. It may take years to get all of your customers info but it is invaluable when you have it. You will spend a lot less time playing phone tag.
