'Floorplates'

The ones I'm looking for are the ones with the split in them so you can fit them around the pipe rather than on the pipe, ie If you have already piped the radiator up with valves on, The floorplate can be fitted around the pipe and clipped tight.
Can you give me a few internet addresses for these supply houses. As I would have get them to send them over here to NZ.

    Floorplates

Just spend a fustrating 1/2 hr using the search engine to find some supply houses and not one seem to be able to throw up a reply. Do you guys call them by some other name than Floorplates ? I also tried coverplates but that threw up nothing either?

    the name

pipe tyte sticks in my head, i have used these for going through metal studs, but they would work for centering a pipe in a wooden floor as well. The other thing i have done, is used pipe insulation. It depends on what you are using it for. Noise? Draft?

    Hope this helps

is the word your looking for. They come in cts for copper and ips for iron pipe. They come in different finishes such as chrome and plastic white, split, shallow and deep.

Any of your local stores should be able to get them.
