If I understand the situation, the JM fire that affected their ability to produce pipe-wrap insulation also shut down their manufacture of round duct.

Since Unico and Spacepak both allow/require "super round" or "rigid round" for plenum, I wonder how they'll be affected by this. Especially Spacepak since it's required. Unico allows alternatives.

No insulation

This is going to become a major pain as the summer unfolds into fall and large (and not so large) construction projects are held up indefinetly. We have had a couple of projects put on hold because of this problem.

Let's hope the few other manufacturers kick into high gear and pick up the slack.

He said they would be using square duct.
