Oil boiler chimney sizing question
Rocky
Member Posts: 121
Have an existing oil boiler with 8" Metalbestos chimney that is 15 feet tall. Boiler is 273,000 btu input. Owner is adding on and we will install a second boiler with an additional 105,000 input. Where do I find table to see if I can reuse existing 8" Metalbestos for both boilers or if I have to run new, larger chimney? Thanks in advance

Rocky, I have the sizing guide here. Can I fax it to you? I think you are close to the Max, but possibly OK. It depends on your connector lengths.
The phone number for them in Dallas is 800 992 VENT(8368).
