Thank you to my friends in the industry!

A special thanks to all my friends who attended this weeks Oil Tech Talk Burner Workshop. I really enjoyed all the knowledge we shared with each other and of course as always I appreciate your business.

Thank you to Charlie Masone and R.W. Beckett for treating myself and all my guests to a wonderful dinner the night before.

Thank you John Cockerill for taking the time to show us the very interesting energy saving control you have developed.

And a huge thank you to our friends at Brookhaven National Labs for the tour of the lab where we all learned how we could be heating our homes and domestic hot water in the future not to mention how we may be able to cool our homes with a boiler!

And thank you for taking the time to give us all a presentation on Bio-diesel followed by a great Q & A Session with Thomas A. Butcher, Roger J. McDonald, C.R. Krishna, Yusuf Celebi and their very intelligent intern Chris Brown.

  • An eye opening experience

with what theyre doing out at BNL . I forgot to ask where the biodiesel is being manufactured , and how much soybean is needed to produce 1 gallon of fuel . Maybe someone here has the answers ? Breaking our dependence of oil from other nations is a good thing , and I hope they find a way to bring down the cost of biodiesel in the near future . Great job Alan . I hope I came close to passing the test at the end of the class . I used to be good with math and my memory used to be sharp , but that was many years and beers ago .
