Very sweet! I don't think I'll be using too many of the older style any longer. Beautifully made.

Nope, those are the new Wirsbo...

from what I can tell. I think the Roth manifolds pushed Wirsbo to upgrade to this much nicer design. I'm still looking for brazed tubular manifolds with balance valves installed that I can solder up my own tubing adaptors on. Just don't like those rubber O rings... rather have fully soldered or brazed manifolds. Heard the newer Roth tube fitting system is nice.

    the trick will be

the balance act! Every time you adjust one port all the others are effected. So you may need more than one "reader meter" to speed the process. I found balancing six loops on my test panel was pretty tedious and time consuming even with the window, on every port, type flow setter manifolds.

Boilerpro, here is another couple options. The flow meter manifold could be paired with any valved manifold to allow you to chose your fitting, at least on one manifold. This Watts Radiant is available with plain Dahl mini ball valves or you choice of fitting. This one has SFI fittings. Now if the stainless flow meter manifold had SFI fittings this would be a close to ideal set up, in my opinion. Any tube with a nice swivel, o-ringless connection.

You really need to balance before installing....

Trying to do it after install can be nuts, I'm sure. The flow meter manifolds are nice for checking, but I wouldn't want to rely on them for system balance. I will continue my quest for soldered/ brazed manifolds... next stop Watts apparently.
