but it's not worth the trouble or expense. I have a book from the 1950's that shows a loop of fin tube under the front of a bathtub, early radiant? There are to many good manufacturers of radiant systems, see Dan's "Manufacturers" listing and check through "Heating Q&A" for information.

Fin Tube as Radiant
I heard a rumor that you can use fin tube as radiant....hanging it under the subfloor by at least 1 inch. Has anyone ever heard of doing this? I'm wondering if it's possible and if it will heat properly.0
