I'm looking for a diagram
That shows the water heater set-up with a heat exchanger and a monoflow tee that moves the water through the heat exchanger and water heater during the non-heating season. I know the gist of it, but I'm looking for a diagram from someone that has done it and had it work properly.
The application is a small floor warming project in a forced air house.

I thought Bock might have it,
but they use a mixing valve.
Maybe you can interpolate the fitting into this:

Thanks, George
I'll try that.
Hot Rod, or Bob, or somebody reccomended this a while ago, and I never wrote it down. I'll learn, someday...

I don't have it connected to
a system, but if you look in the July issue of Fuel Oil News I have one (Jet-T) hooked up to a water heater.

induced flow or pumped
I'm a little confused as to the reason for the venturi tee since the diagram shows a circ pump between the h2o htr and the HX, are both necessary or am I missing somthing??0 -
venturi tee
keeps flow going thru the heat exchanger during the off heating months. This way you don't have stagnation in the HX and a possible breeding ground for bugs. Everytime hot water is used it flows water thru the HX keeping it clean (?).
