A Simple Walk...To Save Lives

Folks,

This past Saturday my family and some friends took part in the "Light The Night" walk for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society near our home here in Bucks County, Pa. I was touched by the feeling of community...there was a live band provided by a local radio station, lots of food and drinks, hay rides, "horror" barn, etc.

Kathleen and I ended up raising about $1,500.00, and this is due in part to the contributions of Bob Morrison, Robert O'Connor and (of course) Dan Holohan. Mad Dog, thank you for the kind words of support and encouragement. I hope your Mom is doing well.

It was very moving to walk two miles with a thousand other people, carrying lit red balloons, and seeing the white balloons of the 75 people who carry these blood cancers...my wife Kathleen among them.

Next year she wants to have her own team and raise $5,000.00, so I will give it everything I've got...and hopefully will get a strong contribution from this site as well.

Gentlemen, thank you for your help. These words cannot fully express my gratitude...
