Check the pH first,
it will save you a lot of money and grief, FACT!0 -
Did you get food grade!
What does the label indicate it is for? Typically all hydronic glycols come with an inhibitor package installed
Although you can add the package or booster. Maybe it is available from the same supplier that sold you the glycol.
Local Chem shops could blend the inhibitor for you. Try Scott at www.rhomarwater.com for product, also.
Either buy an inhibitor, and blend it in, or return the stuff you bought and get an "inhibited propylene glycol" suitable for hydronic systems.
Dow, Noble, Hercules, Utility, are a few of the common names in the industry.

We have a non-toxic food grade inhibitor. It's the same as we blend into our Noble/Noburst-100 product. Will you need a defoamer? Drop me an Email or call me and we can go over the details. 1-800-678-6625, Ext. 108
